Art of Hope is a heartfelt initiative founded by rug and textile designer Ruth Lazerson during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When her business came to a standstill, Ruth began creating hand-painted “Hearts of Hope”—beautiful keepsakes crafted in her signature abstract style—to bring comfort and kindness to frontline workers and those facing tough times.
What began as a personal gesture of compassion quickly grew into a movement of generosity, with thousands of people embracing the idea of spreading hope within their own communities. Since its inception, Art of Hope has donated and delivered over 30,000 handcrafted hearts across Australia and beyond, reminding us all that even the smallest acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact.
